TriCipher ID Tool

The TriCipher ID Tool supports the highest level of security in the myOneLogin service. It authenticates users and transactions as part of the TriCipher Armored Credential System (TACS) that supports the myOneLogin service.

When a user attempts to login to a online application, ID Tool prompts the user to authenticate themselves to the TACS using a range of authentication factors including PCs, portable devices, tokens, smart cards and biometrics.

One part of the TriCipher's patented multi-part credential is generated on the user's computer using ID Tool and the other portion is stored in the myOneLogin service. To successfully authenticate, both parts of the credential must be used in combination, making it virtually impossible for an attacker to steal the entire credential. The TriCipher ID tool defeats phishing, Man-in-the-Middle attacks.
